Stagg Batch 26A is a 129.3 Proof (64.65% ABV) small batch bourbon produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. This Spring 2026 release is composed of barrels matured for approximately 8 to 9 years within the distillery’s historic Kentucky rickhouses and follows the low rye Buffalo Trace Mash Bill #1 recipe. Bottled uncut and non-chill filtered, the liquid maintains its natural barrel oils and rich esters.
The profile is characterized by a concentrated delivery of dark fruit, toasted sugar, and the signature Stagg cherry that transitions into a long finish of seasoned oak and baking spices. The high-proof intensity specifically highlights the heavy vanillins extracted during the humid maturation period in the middle floors of the warehouse.
