Distilled in the spring of 2004, this spirit underwent 18 years and 6 months of active maturation in new charred American white oak barrels. This release continued the distillery's move away from tanked stocks, pulling directly from barrels that remained in the warehouse until bottling.
The technical profile is defined by a significant 74% evaporation loss, which concentrated the liquid’s esters and wood sugars into a high-viscosity structural framework. Widely understood to be distilled in-house, this 2022 edition showcases a refined integration of the aged spirit and charred oak, delivering a dense profile of dried orange peel, dark chocolate, and a persistent herbal rye spice characteristic of the distillery's modern high-aged stocks.
