The 2023 Michter's 25 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is bottled at 116.2 proof (58.1% ABV) and is distilled and bottled in Kentucky by Michter's. The pinnacle of Michter's age-stated lineup, this hyper-aged bourbon was matured for more than a quarter century in new, fire-charred American white oak. The 2023 release — selected by Master Distiller Dan McKee and Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson — was the fourth 25 Year Bourbon Michter's has ever released, following the 2008 inaugural, the 2017 second release, and the 2020 third release.
Michter's considers its 25 Year Bourbon "as fine as any bourbon ever released throughout Michter's storied history," drawn from the distillery's finest and oldest barrels and bottled only as stocks permit. The 2023 release was limited to just 500-800 bottles for the American market.
