This expression features Heaven Hill’s traditional wheated mash bill consisting of 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley. The liquid is non-chill filtered and comprises a small-batch blend of barrels aged between 6 and 8 years.
Maturation occurred in deep-char #3 American white oak barrels housed across the middle floors of brick and wood rickhouses, subject to Kentucky’s intensely fluctuating seasonal climate. This specific mid-2023 release carries structural notes of rich molasses, brown sugar, maple, and heavy seasoned oak char without any secondary wood finishing.
