Heaven's Door 10 Year Old is a highly allocated, 100 Proof (50% ABV) limited-edition straight bourbon and a centerpiece of the brand's premium aging program. Co-created with Bob Dylan, this technical expression is comprised of a proprietary blend of whiskeys aged for a minimum of ten years in new charred American oak barrels. The maturation process focuses on the "Lincoln County Process," where the spirit is mellowed through sugar maple charcoal prior to aging, a technique that refines the chemical structure and tempers the high-rye spice of the distillate.
Produced for Heaven's Door and presented in a signature collectible box, the bottle features Dylan’s distinctive welded iron gate artwork. The technical maturation profile is defined by a slow interaction with the wood staves, resulting in a dense concentration of vanilla and baking spice esters. The chemical profile is dominated by a rich, buttery viscosity with notes of toasted caramel, dried cherry, and a subtle smokiness on the finish, characteristic of the brand's commitment to balanced, double-digit age-stated American whiskey.
