George T. Stagg 2010 is a high-octane powerhouse within the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, distilled at DSP-KY-113 using the distillery's signature low-rye Mashbill #1. This vintage reached a formidable 143 proof, marking it as one of the most intense high proof expressions in the series' history. Distilled in the fall of 1993, the spirit matured for 17 years and 7 months in new charred American white oak.
The technical data reveals an extreme evaporation loss, which heavily concentrated the liquid's sugars and oils. With an estimated 19,589 bottles released, the structural framework is defined by its massive viscosity and a profile saturated with dark chocolate, heavy molasses, and seasoned oak tannins, delivering a raw and undiluted representation of long-term warehouse maturation.
