Circa 1940's
Label is very archaic in style and fits in with early mid 1900's. Bottle and seal style also very old. Information exists that Meyer & Lange distributed olive oil around WWI era. Very little information on distiller Francesco Palau. To me it looks around about post prohibition era. Bottle and label appear in excellent untampered condition but US tax stamp which was introduced after repeal of prohibition in 1934 is only partial, but tells its history. Tax stamp can be identified as 1944 -1960 style. This is highly valuable bottle to a collector.
Size: 750ml
Proof: 89 (44.5% ABV)
