The Four Roses Elliott's Select Limited Edition 105-115 Proof (52.5 - 57.5% ABV) is a non-chill filtered, barrel strength Kentucky straight bourbon produced at the Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, KY. Released in 2016, this expression was the inaugural Limited Edition release under Master Distiller Brent Elliott. It features the OESK recipe, which consists of the low-rye "E" mash bill (75% corn, 20% rye, 5% malted barley) paired with the "K" yeast strain, technically engineered to produce spicy, full-bodied aromatics.
Matured for 14 years in specialized single-story rackhouses, this technical release highlights the "K" strain’s rare ability to maintain baking spice integrity against heavy oak tannins over long-term maturation. The resulting chemical profile is defined by vibrant notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and caramel, which cut through the traditional bourbon sweetness. The non-chill filtered presentation ensures a lush, oily mouthfeel that carries deep layers of sweet oak and honey through a long, structural finish.
