Michter's 10 Year Single Barrel Rye continues the legacy of rye as America's first whiskey variety, made by a company that traces its roots to 1753 and the original Shenk's distillery. It is built on a Kentucky-style rye mashbill that McKee values for the flavor nuances that come from having more corn and malted barley in a majority rye recipe.
