2022 Old Fitzgerald Spring Edition is a 100 proof (50% ABV) wheated bourbon produced by Heaven Hill Distillery. This 17-year-old national allocation was distilled in the fall of 2004 and matured in federally bonded warehouses until its spring 2022 bottling. Adhering to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, the 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley mash bill was pulled from three floors of Rickhouse V.
The technical profile is defined by refined oak integration and deep wheated richness, featuring notes of peanut brittle, dark chocolate, and peach flambé with a creamy, pervasive mouthfeel. This 750ml limited iteration is housed in the series' signature ornate decanter with a green label and tax strip.
