Angelās Envy 2020 Cellar Collection Tawny Port Cask is a 111.6 Proof (55.8% ABV) limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey released as the second chapter of the distillery's experimental Cellar Collection series. This technical expression is composed of a mash bill featuring 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley. The maturation profile is defined by a primary aging period of 10 years in new charred American white oak, followed by a meticulous 10-month secondary finish in rare Tawny Port wine casks imported from Portugal.
Produced at the Angelās Envy Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, this 2020 release was limited to a total allocation of 5,400 bottles. The technical presentation includes a redesign of the signature winged bottle featuring gold lettering, housed in a premium display box adorned with the symbol of the queen, a traditional nod to the historical status of Tawny Port. The extended secondary maturation in seasoned tawny staves facilitates a deep amber color and a chemical profile dominated by dark chocolate esters and dry fruit tannins.
