Parker's Heritage 7th Edition 96 Proof (48% ABV) is a highly allocated, Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey produced as a limited release by the Heaven Hill Distillery. This 2013 expression, titled "Promise of Hope," utilizes the distillery's traditional bourbon mash bill of 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye, personally selected by Master Distiller Emeritus Parker Beam. Originally barreled in 2003, the liquid matured for 10 years on the high-exposure floors of Rickhouse EE to achieve a specific balance of wood and spice before being bottled as a single barrel offering.
This evolutionary process yields a rich and complex profile of creamy vanilla, toasted oak, and bright citrus, balanced by a deep undercurrent of honey and gentle cinnamon with a long, elegant finish.
