Distilled in 1981 at the historic DSP-KY-31 site, this 27-year-old expression was matured in new charred American oak within the distillery's cooler warehouse levels to achieve a sophisticated and refined structural integrity.
The extended maturation has produced an extreme concentration of dark chocolate, weathered leather, and seasoned oak tannins, seamlessly balanced by notes of toffee, dried plum, and a soft vanilla finish. As one of the oldest bourbons ever released in the Parker's Heritage portfolio, this 750ml allocated spirit is the primary "holy grail" for collectors tracking the technical lineage of 20th-century Kentucky distilling.
