Wild Turkey Master's Keep Voyage is a 106 Proof (53% ABV) Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey produced by the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and released in 2023. A 10-year-old bourbon finished in Jamaican rum casks, it marks the first-ever rum cask finish in Wild Turkey's history.
Voyage is a collaboration between Master Distiller Eddie Russell and Appleton Estate Master Blender Dr. Joy Spence — two icons whose partnership represents more than 80 years of combined whiskey- and rum-making experience. For the finish, Eddie used casks that had previously matured 14-year-old pot still rum at Appleton Estate, allowing the tropical depth of well-aged Jamaican rum to weave through the mature Kentucky bourbon.
The result is a tropically influenced take on an American icon, bursting with notes of fruit, caramel, and aged oak before a warm, long-lasting finish of chocolate and spice. The Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, is home to one of bourbon's most storied lineages, led for generations by legendary Master Distiller Jimmy Russell — among the longest-tenured master distillers in the world — and his son, Master Distiller Eddie Russell.
