Stagg Jr. Batch 15 is a 131.1 Proof (65.55% ABV) small batch bourbon produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. This Winter 2020 release is composed of barrels matured for approximately 8 years within the distillery’s historic Kentucky rickhouses. It utilizes the low-rye Buffalo Trace Mash Bill #1 recipe which prioritizes a dense grain sweetness and concentrated fruit character.
Matured in heavy char American white oak, this expression is bottled uncut and non-chill filtered to maintain the full integrity of the barrel oils. The profile is characterized by a potent delivery of dark chocolate, spicy clove, and the trademark Stagg cherry that transitions into a long finish of toasted oak and rich molasses.
