This 2024 expression utilizes a traditional mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley, representing some of the rarest aged stocks in the brand’s current inventory. While Penelope is widely recognized for MGP-distilled Indiana spirits, this specific release features distillate sourced from Heaven Hill in Bardstown.
Originally barreled in 2013, the liquid matured for over a decade in new charred American oak before being selected for its robust profile. This evolutionary process yields a rich and complex profile of dark fruit, brown sugar, and toasted oak, balanced by a deep undercurrent of cinnamon and leather with a long, barrel-strength finish.
