Produced by Michter's Distillery in Louisville, this highly collectible bottling represents the "Fork In The Road Point"—the precise maturation window between 17 and 20 years where barrels achieve maximum complexity without becoming over-oaked. The spirit enters fire-charred, new American white oak at a low 103 entry proof, allowing for a slower, more deliberate extraction of rich sugars and deep wood flavors.
Maturation for two decades has produced a decadent, dessert-like profile featuring intense notes of black cherry, rich molasses, and dark chocolate.
