This expression is a high-intent technical project engineered by the Henderson family, featuring a base of Kentucky straight bourbon matured for approximately six years in new charred American oak. The maturation profile is defined by a rigorous secondary finishing period of over one year in rare Madeira wine casks, specifically sourced after an exhaustive search across the island’s premium producers.
Produced at the Angel’s Envy Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, this release was limited to a total allocation of 3,900 bottles. The technical presentation includes a premium glass carafe housed in a commemorative wooden display box, specifically designed to highlight the deep mahogany hue achieved through the extended contact with the 60-gallon fortified wine casks
