Parker's Heritage 17th Edition 128.8 Proof (64.4% ABV) is a highly allocated, Kentucky straight rye whiskey produced as a limited release by the Heaven Hill Distillery. This 2023 expression utilizes the distillery's traditional rye mash bill of 51% rye, 35% corn, and 14% malted barley, representing the longest-aged rye whiskey in their current portfolio. Barreled in late 2012, the liquid matured for 10 years across the first floors of Rickhouses H1 and H2, the fifth floor of FF, and diverse levels in BB and DD.
This selective aging in varied microclimates yields a rich and complex profile of black cherries, honey, and cinnamon, balanced by a deep undercurrent of cloves and cracked pepper with a long, spicy finish.
