This whisky is matured for a minimum of fifteen years in a triple cask combination: European sherry-seasoned oak, American sherry-seasoned oak, and American ex-bourbon oak casks. This process delivers an extraordinarily smooth, delicate yet complex character.
- Color: Rich straw.
- Nose: Sublime and full, with delicate hints of rose and cinnamon, alongside some citrus zest and floral honey notes.
- Palate: Intense rich chocolate with high notes of orange and raisin, balanced with notes of spice, vanilla cream, and dried fruit.
- Finish: Lingering with a hint of chocolate, orange, and dried fruits.
The "Fine Oak" name has been retired and rebranded as the "Triple Cask Matured" range, but it is the same great whisky. The Fine Oak version is now considered a collector's item. The Triple Cask Matured version is still available through various online retailers.
