High West Yippee Ki-Yay is a 92 proof (46% ABV) discontinued limited allocation representing one of the most experimental releases from High West Distillery. This unique blend of straight ryes (aged 2–16 years) underwent a secondary maturation in a combination of Vya Vermouth and Qupé Syrah barrels.
The vermouth barrels introduce sophisticated layers of dried fruit, botanical spice, and herbal bitterness (notably orange peel and sage), while the Syrah casks contribute a silky mouthfeel and notes of dark cherry and blackberry jam. This 750ml release, with a total production of only 29,646 bottles, remains a primary target for collectors seeking the specific maturation nuances of High West's discontinued wood-finishing series.
