Parker's Heritage 8th Edition 127.4 Proof (63.7% ABV) is a highly allocated, Kentucky straight wheat whiskey produced as a limited release by the Heaven Hill Distillery. This 2014 expression utilizes the distillery’s specialty wheat mash bill of 51% soft red winter wheat, 37% corn, and 12% malted barley, representing the first wheated whiskey ever included in the collection.
Originally barreled in 2001, the liquid matured for 13 years on the high-exposure floors of Rickhouse Y, where the increased heat interaction deepened the extraction of wood sugars. This evolutionary process yields a rich and complex profile of butterscotch, honeyed oak, and dark berries, balanced by a deep undercurrent of cinnamon and vanilla bean with a long, robust finish.
