The 2019 Michter's 20 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is bottled at 114.2 proof (57.1% ABV) and is distilled and bottled in Kentucky by Michter's. Matured for at least two decades in new, fire-charred American white oak, the 2019 edition was the first Michter's 20 Year Bourbon released under newly named Master Distiller Dan McKee, who had been elevated to the role earlier in 2019.
Michter's pays extra-special attention to its barrels once they pass 17 years, a window the distillery calls the "Fork in the Road Point" — 17 to 20 years, when a select few barrels reach an extraordinary level of quality while most decline.
