The 2015 Michter's 20 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is bottled at 114.2 proof (57.1% ABV) and is distilled and bottled in Kentucky by Michter's. Matured for at least two decades in new, fire-charred American white oak, the 2015 edition was an extremely limited release, with Master Distiller Willie "Dr. No" Pratt personally selecting the rare barrels.
Michter's pays extra-special attention to its barrels once they pass 17 years, a window the distillery calls the "Fork in the Road Point" — 17 to 20 years, when a select few barrels reach an extraordinary level of quality while most decline.
