The 2013 Michter's Celebration Sour Mash Whiskey is the inaugural release of Michter's most prestigious and rarest expression, bottled at 112.4 proof (56.2% ABV) and released in December 2013. It is a blend of Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Kentucky Straight Rye drawn from just seven extraordinary barrels — three bourbon and four rye, with the youngest whiskey over 12 years old and the oldest over 30 — hand-selected by Michter's Master Distiller Willie "Dr. No" Pratt and limited to only 273 bottles.
Released only about once every three years, Celebration is the rarest and most prestigious whiskey Michter's makes — a barrel-strength blend of the distillery's oldest and most extraordinary Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Kentucky Straight Rye barrels.
