The 2020 Maker's Mark Keeneland is a 90 Proof (45% ABV) limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon released in July 2020 as the 24th installment of the annual charitable series. This high-intent collectible bourbon is technically distinguished by a black wax seal and a green wax Keeneland seal on the front, with a gold label featuring artwork by Louisville artist Jeaneen Barnhart.
This charitable release was uniquely pre-signed by five leading active stakes-winning jockeys—Julien Leparoux, Robby Albarado, John Velazquez, Javier Castellano, and Mike Smith—to benefit the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF). Utilizing the signature wheated mash bill, this 1-Liter bottling was matured at the Maker's Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky. Due to pandemic restrictions, the usual public signing was replaced by these pre-signed units, making this specific release a primary target for Thoroughbred racing fans and collectors of rare autographed memorabilia.
