The Yellowstone USA 250th Anniversary Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the 2026 edition of Limestone Branch Distillery's Yellowstone Hand Picked Single Barrel program: a 7-year, bottled-in-bond Kentucky straight bourbon at 100 proof (50% ABV), limited to just 250 barrels total in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Every specification carries a tribute. Per the distillery, the 100 proof salutes the 50 United States; the 7-year age statement honors seven Founding Fathers — George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, John Adams, James Madison, and John Jay; and the bottled-in-bond designation symbolizes “the strong bond it took to gain independence.” Bottled-in-bond is also a legal guarantee dating to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897: the whiskey must be the product of a single distillery and a single distilling season, aged at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at exactly 100 proof. “We wanted to offer something really special to our customers with our 2026 Yellowstone Hand Picked Single Barrel program while paying tribute to our founding fathers who established our nation 250 years ago,” said seventh-generation Master Distiller Stephen Beam.

As a hand-picked single barrel, each cask is sampled at the distillery and carries its own complexities and one-of-a-kind flavors — character varies from barrel to barrel even as the bottled-in-bond proof holds fixed at 100. Selecting accounts receive a displayable barrel with a branded placard showing the unique barrel number, and every bottle wears a commemorative label — 7-year age statement, bottled-in-bond designation, and patriotic graphics — presented in a commemorative tube fully wrapped in a replica of the Declaration of Independence. Announced in February 2026, barrel-pick bottles began reaching shelves in early summer.

The patriotic framing fits a brand with genuine American credentials. Yellowstone was established in 1872 and is, in Beam's words, “the only brand named for the first national park”; through its partnership with the National Parks Conservation Association since 2018, Yellowstone Bourbon has donated more than $1 million to protect America's national parks. For collectors, this is a convergence of rarities: a bottled-in-bond Yellowstone, a single barrel that will never be replicated, and a one-year-only semiquincentennial bottling capped at 250 barrels — a bottle made to be opened on July 4th or kept sealed for the next milestone.
