The company published the full architecture. An original blend combines 35% twelve year Indiana whiskey (45% corn, 51% rye, 4% malted barley), 45% seven year Kentucky bourbon (74% corn, 18% rye, 8% malted barley), and 20% six year Indiana rye (95% rye, 5% malted barley). That marriage was then re-blended at 87% with a 13% portion of seventeen year Tennessee whiskey (84% corn, 8% rye, 8% malted barley), folding rare aged stock into the young-and-spicy core.

The married blend then spent three weeks finishing on three distinct proprietary toasted-oak stave profiles alongside a charred-barrel component, the triple stave treatment that gives the whiskey its name. Each stave recipe was toasted to draw out a different register of the wood, one leaning pure oak, one savory spice, one confectionary sweetness, so the finish functions like a final act of blending conducted inside the barrel. The label charts caramel, vanilla, and baking spice aromas into ripe fruit, chocolate, and toasted oak, with a long finish balancing sweetness and spice, a profile engineered plank by plank.
