Decade I belongs to the 1960s, the era that started it all. Sean Connery's debut in Dr. No (1962) introduced cinema's most enduring secret agent, and Connery went on to define the role across six films in a decade, with George Lazenby stepping in for On Her Majesty's Secret Service in 1969. The packaging channels that first golden age through original production art from the Bond archives: Fort Knox interior and laser-room set concepts from Goldfinger (1964), the Little Nellie combat storyboard from You Only Live Twice (1967), and a technical drawing of the jet pack worn in Thunderball (1965).
Inside the bottle is a whisky created by The Macallan Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell to reflect Bond's enduring character: graceful, assured and quietly powerful. It carries no age statement and shows a natural colour the distillery describes as Suisse (Swiss) gold. Notably, The Macallan confirms the liquid is identical across all six Decade bottles; what distinguishes each release is its archive-driven design.
