The 2025 Yellowstone Limited Edition marks the 10th anniversary of Limestone Branch Distillery's flagship annual series: a 105 proof (52.5% ABV) blend of straight bourbon whiskeys in which every component is aged 10 years, drawn from three distinct mash bills — and, for the first time, from two distilleries: Limestone Branch in Lebanon, Kentucky and Ross & Squibb in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
The proof is a tribute: 105, matching the 2015 debut that launched the series. And the blend is a first — created by seventh-generation Master Distiller Stephen Beam in collaboration with the Ross & Squibb blending team. “We've done something different with this special annual release every year since 2015,” Beam said. “In partnership with the Ross & Squibb team, we pushed the boundaries of innovation by creating our first blend featuring barrels from the Indiana and Kentucky distilleries — without compromising on our commitment to quality that has kept the Yellowstone Bourbon brand on shelf for more than 150 years.” Unlike recent vintages, there is no wine or brandy cask finish — the anniversary edition lets 10-year straight bourbon speak for itself.
The distillery describes aromas of vanilla, oak, and hints of citrus; a palate of rich caramel, vanilla, toffee, and hints of stone fruit; and a lingering charred-oak finish with honey, cherry, and cinnamon. The release is limited to 30,000 individually numbered bottles (10,000 three-bottle cases), presented in the custom embossed bottle with natural cork and a black-and-gold label carrying the bold 10-year age statement, anniversary details, and Beam's signature.
One note of precision: because it unites Kentucky and Indiana barrels, the 2025 edition is officially a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys rather than a Kentucky straight bourbon. For collectors, it is the series' milestone bottle — the 10th anniversary statement, the first two-state blend, and a bookend to the 105 proof original that started it all in 2015.
