The process utilized fully mature Woodford Reserve Bourbon, which underwent a secondary maturation for several months in unique French oak barrels that previously held Sonoma-Cutrer Pinot Noir.
Utilizing the traditional 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley mash bill, the spirit was matured in heat-cycled stone warehouses to facilitate the extraction of delicate fruit esters. This non-chill filtered expression offers a structurally dense profile with technical notes of cherry, raspberry, and roasted nuts, balanced by the toasted oak tannins and a persistent, dry finish of baking spices and red berry jam.
