This high-proof expression utilizes the distillery’s proprietary wheated mash bill, which replaces the traditional rye spice with the soft, rounded sweetness of wheat. Distinct from other Weller offerings, this release is bottled at the exact entry proof at which it was barreled, bypassing the typical chill-filtration process to preserve the heavy barrel oils and complex esters developed during maturation.
The profile is characterized by a dense delivery of deep caramel, toasted cinnamon, and dark stone fruit that transitions into a long finish of toasted oak and rich vanilla bean.
