Penelope Toasted Marshmallow Toast is a limited release straight bourbon whiskey produced as part of the brand's Toasted Series Private Batch program. This 2025 expression utilizes a high-rye distillery mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, representing a curated selection of barrels specifically chosen for their dessert-forward profiles. Originally aged for five years in new charred American oak at the MGP Distillery in Indiana, the liquid underwent a secondary maturation process in specialized Char 3 heavy toast barrels.
This evolutionary process yields a rich and complex profile of toasted vanilla bean, graham cracker, and butterscotch, balanced by a deep undercurrent of charred oak and spicy cinnamon with a long, savory marshmallow finish.
