This 2021 release in the 117 Series utilizes the classic distillery mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley. The expression is a small-batch blend of barrels aged across multiple floors of Warehouse K, a heat-cycled brick facility constructed in 1953 known for producing many of the distillery’s top-tier single barrel selections.
The controlled temperature fluctuations within this specific warehouse environment accelerated wood-spirit interaction, resulting in a full-bodied and viscous profile characterized by creamy chocolate, dark cherry, and bitter molasses, finished with a robust and complex barrel spice.
