2020 Old Fitzgerald VVS is a 100 proof (50% ABV) wheated bourbon produced by Heaven Hill Distillery. This "Very Very Special" (VVS) 14-year-old release was an ultra-limited, site-specific allocation exclusively available at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience and select Kentucky retailers. Adhering to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, the 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley mash bill has undergone a full 14-year maturation in new charred American oak.
The technical profile is defined by notes of rich buttery caramel, brown sugar, and maraschino cherry with a velvet-textured mouthfeel and structured oak finish. This 750ml distillery-exclusive iteration is distinguished by its unique maroon label and signature tax strip, differentiating it from the standard seasonal green and black labels.
