2020 Old Fitzgerald Fall Edition is a 100 proof (50% ABV) wheated bourbon produced by Heaven Hill Distillery. This 14-year-old national allocation was distilled in the Fall 2005 season at the Bernheim Distillery (DSP-KY-1) and matured in federally bonded warehouses. Adhering to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, the 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley mash bill has undergone a full 14-year maturation in new charred American oak.
The technical profile is defined by notes of roasted pineapple, malted milk balls, and candied orange with a dense, oily mouthfeel. This 750ml limited iteration is distinguished by its signature black label and ornate decanter, representing the sixth national release in the decanter series.
