New Holland Brewing Company presents the Dragon's Milk Origin Maple Barrel, a small-batch straight bourbon distilled and aged in Holland, Michigan. This expression follows the signature high-malt mash bill (70% corn, 25% malted barley, 5% rye) and is produced in a 100-year-old copper pot still.
After five years in new charred American oak, the whiskey is finished in freshly-emptied maple syrup barrels. Bottled at 110 proof (55% ABV), the technical process integrates residual maple sugars with the bourbon's base profile. The resulting palate features amplified notes of maple syrup, spiced apple, and cinnamon with a subtle hint of smoke.
