Bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV), this limited release is drawn from one hand-selected barrel that spent 21 years aging at Heaven Hill's Bernheim Distillery (DSP-KY-1) in Louisville, Kentucky. Heaven Hill set aside just 1,789 bottles for the program — a deliberate nod to 1789, the year Reverend Elijah Craig is credited as the first to distill bourbon — with the inaugural release timed to National Bourbon Day on June 14, 2026 at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience in Bardstown ahead of select retail allocation.

Built on Heaven Hill's traditional bourbon mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley, the 21 Year Old reflects the depth, oak structure, and tertiary tobacco-and-leather complexity that only emerge after two decades in heavily charred new American oak. Each bottle ships in a custom wooden display case designed to evoke the barrel-charring craftsmanship that earned Reverend Elijah Craig the title "Father of Bourbon." As a single-barrel release, the contents of each bottle differ subtly from the next, but every bottle in the program carries Heaven Hill Master Distiller Conor O'Driscoll's hand-selection signature.
