Clase Azul Joven Pink 2023 is an 80 proof (40% ABV) limited-release produced at NOM 1595 in Jesus Maria, Jalisco. This spirit is a Joven expression, meticulously blending unaged Plata with Reposado and Extra Añejo tequilas. The 100% Blue Weber agave is harvested at peak maturity in the Los Altos highlands, slow-cooked in traditional masonry ovens for 72 hours, and fermented with a proprietary yeast strain. Distillation occurs twice in copper pot stills.
Maturation specs include resting the aged components in used American whiskey casks to develop a profile of vanilla, toasted oak, and caramel. This 1-liter hand-painted ceramic decanter supports breast cancer awareness via the Grupo RETO foundation.
