Cascahuin Mission 1530 Single Barrel is an 84 Proof (42% ABV) additive-free Añejo produced at NOM 1123 (Tequila Cascahuín) in El Arenal. This expression is part of a charitable initiative by founder Jason Krasno to raise funds for the Tequila Interchange Project (TIP). Utilizing 100% Blue Weber agave slow-cooked in masonry ovens and extracted via roller mill, the spirit is double-distilled in copper pots.
This specific release is matured for 24 months, with a 12–14 month finish in rare French Oak ex-Cognac casks, which were personally sourced and shipped to the distillery. The result is a refined profile of roasted agave, salted caramel, and dried apricot, with all proceeds directly supporting the sustainability and fair labor practices of the agave industry.
