Still Austin 6 Year Bottled in Bond Red Corn is a 100 Proof (50.0% ABV) high-impact, small-batch red corn bourbon produced at the Still Austin Whiskey Co. distillery. This robust, grain-to-glass expression is distilled from a rare mash bill of 70% Jimmy Red corn, 25% rye, and 5% malted barley. Maturation occurred for exactly 6 years in new, charred American oak barrels within the distillery's Austin-based urban rickhouses.
The extreme Texas climate and strict Bottled in Bond regulations (requiring distillation in a single season by one master distiller) produced a dense, high-viscosity spirit. Technical specs highlight a concentrated profile of black cherry and roasted cocoa, balanced by the earthy, sweet nuttiness of the heirloom red corn and a lingering finish of cigar box and baking spice. This 2025 release represents the oldest age-stated red corn expression in the distillery’s current inventory.
