2025 Old Fitzgerald VVS is a 100 proof (50% ABV) wheated bourbon produced by Heaven Hill Distillery. This "Very Very Special" (VVS) 11-year-old release was distilled in the Fall 2014 season at the Bernheim Distillery (DSP-KY-1) and matured in federally bonded warehouses. Adhering to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, the 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley mash bill has undergone a full 11-year maturation in new charred American oak.
The technical profile is defined by notes of toasted bread, stewed apples, and rich honey sweetness with a viscous mouthfeel. This 750ml distillery-exclusive iteration is distinguished by its unique maroon label and signature tax strip.
