The Writer: Edward Kaukoranta
Edward Kaukoranta (born 1985) is a Dom Pérignon enthusiast with over 20 years of experience. After tasting the 1992 Œnothèque in 2008, he dove deep into exploring mature champagnes. Over a decade later, this led to the first book dedicated to Dom Pérignon. Edward kept the first bottle he tasted of each vintage for his collection, and they were photographed for the book. His work offers a unique, independent perspective on fine and rare champagnes, as he personally purchased all featured bottles and self-published his book, Drinking Dom Pérignon 1921 to 2013.
