Starting with the 2025 allocations, the distillery expanded this highly coveted expression from its historic 375ml distillery-only format into a nationwide 700ml commercial release. It relies on the standard 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley mash bill, starting with triple pot still distillation.
The liquid undergoes a primary 5 to 7-year maturation inside charred new white oak within heat-cycled brick warehouses. It then moves to a separate, specialized secondary barrel that undergoes a heavy 40-minute toast and a brief 5-second flash char. While standard Double Oaked finishes for 12 months, this Barrel Finish Select variant sits in the secondary wood for up to 24 months. This prolonged timeline concentrates dense wood compounds, extracting rich maple syrup, dark butterscotch, brittle caramel, and warming clove.
