Still Austin Double Oaked Yellow Corn is a cask-strength 110β123 Proof (55β61.5% ABV) ultra-rare, single-barrel bourbon produced at the Still Austin Whiskey Co. distillery. This aggressive, small-batch "Order of Nancy" private selection is distilled from a traditional Texas yellow corn mash bill and undergoes a rigorous secondary maturation in a second, newly charred American oak barrel. Maturation occurred over at least 4 years within the distillery's Austin-based urban rickhouses.
The extreme Texas climate accelerated the extraction of deep wood sugars during the finishing phase, resulting in a dense, high-viscosity spirit with a remarkably dark color. Technical specs highlight a concentrated profile of burnt marshmallow and dark espresso, balanced by the classic Still Austin sweetness of vanilla bean and a lingering finish of heavy oak and cigar box. As a single barrel product, the final ABV varies by individual cask, reflecting the unique chemical interaction of the double-maturation process
