Stagg Barrel Proof Batch 25C is a 125.6 Proof (62.8% ABV) small batch bourbon produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. This 2025 release is part of the third seasonal batch allocation and is sourced from select barrels matured within the distillery’s middle-floor ricks. It follows the Buffalo Trace Mash Bill #1 recipe which is a low rye bourbon designed for maximum oak and caramel interaction.
Matured for approximately 8 to 9 years in heavy char American white oak, this expression remains uncut and non-chill filtered to preserve the original barrel character. The profile is characterized by dense layers of toffee, dark cherry, and scorched brown sugar that transition into a long finish of toasted oak and warming cinnamon.
