Bardstown Bourbon Company Silver Oak is a Blend of Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Bardstown Bourbon Company in Bardstown, Kentucky. Part of the distillery's acclaimed Collaborative Series, in which the blending team partners with renowned winemakers, brewers and brandy houses to finish its award-winning whiskey in their used casks. Bottled at 108 proof.
A blend of straight bourbon finished in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from Silver Oak, the famed Napa and Alexander Valley winery known for its American oak aging. The blending team paired Silver Oak's signature vanilla-laced wine character with the bourbon's grain depth. Each Collaborative release is a limited, single-finish bottling, and no two editions share the same partner cask.
On the nose, black cherry, vanilla, and oak. The palate brings dark fruit, cocoa, and toasted spice. The finish carries tannin and sweet oak.
