This Kentucky straight bourbon was finished in barrels that held Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout, the Chicago brewery's renowned barrel-aged imperial stout. The blending team used the dessert-rich casks to layer chocolate, coffee, and vanilla over the bourbon. Each Collaborative release is a limited, single-finish bottling, and no two editions share the same partner cask.
On the nose, chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. The palate brings cocoa, roasted malt, and caramel. The finish carries dark chocolate and warm oak.
