Bardstown Bourbon Company Amaro Nonino is a Blend of Straight Bourbon & Rye from Bardstown Bourbon Company in Bardstown, Kentucky. Part of the distillery's acclaimed Collaborative Series, in which the blending team partners with renowned winemakers, brewers and brandy houses to finish its award-winning whiskey in their used casks. Bottled at 111 proof.
This blend of straight bourbon and rye was finished for 17 months in barrels from Amaro Nonino, the Italian herbal liqueur house. The blending team used the amaro casks to introduce bittersweet citrus and botanical complexity rarely seen in American whiskey. Each Collaborative release is a limited, single-finish bottling, and no two editions share the same partner cask.
On the nose, orange peel, herbs, and caramel. The palate brings bittersweet citrus, baking spice, and oak. The finish carries herbal bitterness and warm spice.
Limited and widely sought, it has become a genuine chase bottle for enthusiasts. It has earned a lasting reputation within the Bardstown Collaborative Series and a devoted collector following.
