Master Distiller Fred Noe selected the batch from across six different rack-houses, aged 7 years, 4 months, 14 days. Marking the third release of the Booker's Bourbon 2022 Collection, this batch pays tribute to Booker Noe's love for not flavoring his water with tea leaves, but flavoring his water with bourbon. Something he called Kentucky Tea.
Per Fred Noe's notes, on the nose, it shows dark, sweet vanilla. The palate brings rich and sweet vanilla flavors, and the finish carries lingering but not overpowering. The pour shows Booker's darkest, deepest amber and henna color.
A 2022 Booker's release, this named batch is closely tracked by collectors building a complete Booker's run. Bottled at full barrel strength with no chill filtration, it rewards a few drops of water and drinks well neat or over a single large cube.
